Many of you already know who the guy above is, none other than Takeru Kobayashi. Known as the “Tsunami,” Kobayashi is probably the most famous competitive eater of all time. But he has some good competition. Joey Chestnut, for example, defeated Kobayashi in 2007.
Takeru Kobayashi - what have you ate: cow brains (17.7 pounds in 15 minutes), rice balls (20 pounds in 30 minutes), lobster rolls (41 in 10 minutes)
Joey Chestnut - The 225-pound Chestnut started competitive eating in 2005.

Sonya “The Black Widow” Thomas - Weighing in at barely 100 pounds, she has beaten some of the sport’s best, including Eric Booker, Joey Chestnut and Takeru Kobayashi.
What'd you eat: 65 hard-boiled eggs in under 7 minutes. 7 ¾ pounds turducken (that’s a chicken inside a duck inside a turkey) in 12 minutes. And 80 chicken nuggets in 5 minutes
Tim “Eater X” Janus - What'd you eat: 4 pounds of tiramisu in 6 minutes, over 10 pounds of ramen noodles in 8 minutes, and 141 pieces of sushi in 6 minutes
Patrick “Deep Dish” Bertoletti - What'd you eat: 263 pickled jalapeno peppers in 15 minutes, 42 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in 10 minutes and 21 pounds of grits in 10 minutes
